San Soo Kap San

Today me and my family went to  a Korean BBQ restaurant. We went there after visiting the Queens Museum. The address is 38-13 Union St  in Flushing, NY 11354~5522 between 38th & 39th Ave.  There are a lot of things in it. It's got window seats, a sushi bar, a TV, and when you thought it couldn't get any better  BOOM  they cook your food in front of you (if you order only stuff in the BBQ section of menu).  Of course they have vents over the tables to let the smoke and steam to go out.
They put a bunch of condiments of the table.  This is the list: tofu, bok choy, BBQ sauce, and honey potatoes, and a bunch of other pickled and/or spicy stuff.  You can also order rice.  We got three main dishes.  Two were cooked on the grill in the middle of the table.  The two they cooked in front of us were Angus Kalbi, which is marinated beef ribs barbecued.  They were delicious.  They were so soft and juicy. The other one was called O-Ri Gui which are sliced duck meat.  They fell apart on the grill, it was just as good as the Angus Kalbi.  It was also soft and juicy.  You could make a wrap out of the lettuce, the meat and the condiments.

The dish they did not cook in front of us was the noodles called Jap Chae.  It is stir fried noodle with sauteed beef & vegetable.  The noodles were almost see through and they were soft.  There wasn't a sauce on it, just beef and vegetables.  It tasted very plain but I loved it.  I ate like half of the giant plate that was for my family.

So you should go to this restaurant.  They serve some of the best Korean BBQ I have ever had.
