A Hot Dog Wrapped In Bacon In A Glazed Donut Bun ( aka the donut dog)

I was at the state fair in Syracuse.  Dad said I could have the donut dog.  It was so good- my dad had 1 bite, my mom had 1 bite and I had the rest.  There was some thing special about the glaze.  It just made it taste a lot better.  If it didn't have it, it wouldn't have been as good.  It tasted like you were combining meat and a donut.  I also got chocolate covered bacon.  Which was just as good as the donut dog.

  1. Mateo, I really hope you don't get diabetes! (I would have eaten that too). I love your writing. We eat a lot of dumplings here in Shanghai, and I'm curious what kind you like the best. I'm a pork bun/xiao long bao fan myself. See if you can find some xiao long bao. You have to go to a Taiwanese restaurant. Bet you'd like it!
