I am an almost fourteen year old kid who loves to eat. I started writing this blog when I was eight years old- I couldn't sit still in restaurants and all I wanted to order was chicken fingers. Now I've eaten a lot of interesting food and I love sharing my restaurant recommendations and experiences with people. Also, last summer I went to baking camp and now my family counts on me to bring different varieties of apple pies to events.

Nutella bar
Yesterday me and my family went to Eataly on 23rd and 5th. One of the restaurants was a Nutella bar. Inside there were 3 giant shelves full of big and small Nutella containers. Let me tell you a story now. Once upon a time in the 1940s lived a pastry chief named Mr. Pietro Ferrero. Since cocoa was rationed (because of World War II), he added hazelnuts which was plentiful in north-west Italy where he lived. And they all lived happily ever after. I got crostatina, a mini tart filled with Nutella. It was good. To drink I had a sparkling lemonade. My sister and my mom had Bacio Di Dama, a hazelnut cookie sandwich put together with Nutella. After that me and my family went to a gelato store. I got salted caramel and lemon in a waffle cone. My sister got chocolate, and my mom got lemon. I can not believe I am saying this but ice cream is more healthy gelato. There are many other stores in Eataly. They sell hand made macaroni, sea food, and other foods you can get in Italy.

You've officially made me hungry for the Nutella-filled crostatina, and gelato, especially the waffle cone with salted caramel. I wish I could grow hazelnuts in my back yard. Don't you? Thanks for telling us all about it, young blogger!
